RSS

In September, Triumph are offering a bra recycling service.

It's simple, just pop in to our lingerie department to deposit your bras. The bras will be collected and then reused and recycled.

Questions

Which items are accepted for being collected at Triumph collecting points?
Clean and dry bras of any brands are welcome.

How does the “Together We Recycle” promotion work?
Triumph collects unwanted bras from its customers, making it as easy as possible for them to dispose used clothes in a more sustainable manner.

What happens to the used bras?
TEXAID has one of the world’s most modern, voice-controlled sorting systems in place for the high-quality, certified sorting and further processing of the items in the various recycling loops. Collected clothes will be repurposed (either re-used or recycled) in order to conserve natural resources and reduce damage to the environment.

Where are used bras sold?
TEXAID sells used garments in many of its own second-hand shops. It also
exports to Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. Unsorted textiles that have been
separated from obvious waste are sent to sorting facilities in Italy, Belgium,
Tunisia and Eastern Europe.

So much on offer at Harvey's of Halifax. I love the cook shop bit, really great products and it's fun to just browse. The homeware and linen department offers great products in a range of different styles. Harvey's has soo much going on, well worth a visit to THE store in Halifax.
