Sales Assistant

16 hours per week, worked across five days including Saturdays

We're looking for a friendly, helpful Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team at Harveys of Halifax. Working hours are variable between 9.30am and 5pm across five days a week, including Saturdays, and we'll need you to be flexible to help cover busier periods, holidays and sickness.

As part of our sales team, you'll be the welcoming face of the store: giving customers genuine, attentive service on the shop floor and at the till, listening to what they need and helping them find it. Day to day you'll also be replenishing stock, keeping displays and the department looking their best, cashiering, and lending a hand to colleagues wherever it's needed.

You'll suit the role if you:

• Enjoy helping people and take real pride in good customer service
  
• Have good numeracy and clear spoken and written English
  
• Can work flexibly to suit the needs of the store
  
• Have worked in a similar retail environment before (desirable, but not essential)
